Lc3 official cosplay guidelines
Costumes and Cosplay are encouraged all three days of the con! We ask that you follow a few simple rules:
No modern military, security, law enforcement, or first responder costumes. Active duty military, however, are welcome to wear their government-issued uniforms.
Keep costumes family appropriate by using good judgment and taste. Guests have a variety of tolerance levels as to the nature of “appropriate” costumes. In general, more coverage is better than less. Hate symbols, even historical hate symbols, will not be tolerated. Additionally, cosplay that can be interpreted as culturally disrespectful by any of the attendees or guests will be asked to be removed.
Staff reserve the right to make a judgment call and to ask you to change if the costume is deemed inappropriate. If you refuse to change, you will be asked to leave.
We fully support the idea that Cosplay Is Not Consent. If you want a picture of someone, ask politely. Respect personal space. If you’re feeling harassed, please let staff or security know.

Prop weapon policy
Clearly fake weapons are allowed. Any realistic-looking guns should have an orange tip to signify they cannot be fired and are part of the costume. Any metal weapons need to be peace-bound. Contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions.
